Μιλώντας για την 25η Μαρτίου και την Επανάσταση του 1821, μας αρέσει, συνήθως, να λέμε λόγια φανταχτερά, γεμάτα θριαμβολογίες και επαίνους.
Σπάνια ακούγεται λόγος, που να ελέγχει και να προβληματίζει. Η επέτειος, όμως, της 25ης Μαρτίου δεν είναι μόνον μια επέτειος ηρωϊκών αγώνων και πολεμικών κατορθωμάτων. Είναι ταυτόχρονα και μια πολύ καλή αφορμή, να κάνουμε όλοι μας μιαν άσκηση αυτοκριτικής και να αναρωτηθούμε: Τι είναι αυτό, που μετράει περισσότερο για τους ήρωες του ’21; Είναι τα λόγια μας τα μεγάλα, οι παρελάσεις και η κατάθεση στεφάνων; Ή μήπως οι ψυχές τους λαχταράνε από εμάς άλλα πράγματα και κυρίως να τους μιμηθούμε στην πράξη, και η ζωή μας να είναι σύμφωνη με τα πιστεύω τους και τα ιδανικά τους; Στα χρόνια μας, έχουμε κάνει, δυστυχώς, την Πατρίδα μας ένα απέραντο εργαστήριο αυτοκαταστροφής. Οι αλήθειες του ’21 παραποιούνται, τα πρόσωπα των ηρώων σπιλώνονται, η Πίστη και τα Ιδανικά των προγόνων μας θάβονται....
Τρέφονται με τα δηλητήρια της αθεΐας και της παγκοσμιοποίησης και ντρέπονται να πουν, ότι γεννήθηκαν Έλληνες και Ορθόδοξοι.
Τις θυσίες των ηρώων του ’21, τα οράματα, τις αξίες και την πίστη τους, φτάσαμε να τα θεωρούμε παρακατιανά και παλιομοδίτικα. Αφ’ ότου λευτερωθήκαμε από τον τούρκικο ζυγό, πετάξαμε στα άχρηστα τον δοκιμασμένο δικό μας Τρόπο και λιμπιστήκαμε την κάλπικη γυαλάδα των ξένων.
Ειρωνευτήκαμε την φιλοκαλία των πατέρων μας και προτιμήσαμε τα ξυλοκέρατα του πάπα και των προτεσταντών. Τυφλωθήκαμε από τα ψεύτικα και πλάνα ’’φώτα’’ των δήθεν πολιτισμένων της εσπερίας, και στο τέλος παγιδευτήκαμε για τα καλά.
Με δική μας, βεβαίως, υπαιτιότητα δώσαμε δικαιώματα στους Ευρωπαίους ’’σωτήρες’’ μας(*), να μας εμπαίζουν, να μας υποτιμούν και να μας εκμεταλλεύονται. Μέχρι πότε, όμως;
Την απάντηση την έδωσε, πριν από λίγες ημέρες, σχολιάζοντας συκοφαντικό για την Ελλάδα μας δημοσίευμα του γερμανικού τύπου, ο γηραιός και πολύπειρος Μίκης Θεοδωράκης με τα παρακάτω λόγια, λόγια που ταιριάζουν στην επέτειο της 25ης Μαρτίου και που δικαιώνουν απόλυτα τους Αγώνες και τις Θυσίες όλων των Ηρώων του ‘21:
’’ Όχι! Δεν θέλουμε να σωθούμε! Το μόνο που θέλουμε, είναι, να μας αφήσουν μόνους και ήσυχους. Και να είστε βέβαιοι, ότι τα καταφέρνουμε καλά. Γιατί η γη μας είναι καλή. Η θάλασσά μας πλούσια. Κι εμείς εργατικοί, φιλόξενοι, νοικοκυραίοι, αλτρουιστές και πατριώτες’’.

Όλοι οι προκομμένοι άντρες των παλαιών Ελλήνων, οι γοναίγοι όλης της ανθρωπότης, ο Λυκούργος, ο Πλάτων, ο Σωκράτης, ο Αριστείδης, ο Θεμιστοκλής, ο Λεωνίδας, ο Θρασύβουλος, ο Δημοστένης και οι επίλοιποι πατέρες γενικώς της ανθρωπότης κοπίαζαν και βασανίζονταν νύχτα και ημέρα μ' αρετή, με 'λικρίνειαν, με καθαρόν ενθουσιασμόν να φωτίσουνε την ανθρωπότη και να την αναστήσουν να 'χει αρετή και φώτα, γενναιότητα και πατριωτισμόν. Όλοι αυτείνοι οι μεγάλοι άντρες του κόσμου έντυναν τους ανθρώπους αρετή, τους γύμνωναν από την κακή διαγωή και γένονταν δάσκαλοι της αλήθειας.
Κάνουν και οι μαθηταί τους οι Ευρωπαίοι την ανταμοιβή εις τους απογόνους εμάς -γύμναση της κακίας και παραλυσίας.
Τέτοι' αρετή έχουν, τέτοια φώτα μας δίνουν.

Apropos der 25. März und der Revolution von 1821, wie wir in der Regel sagen, schöne Worte, voller triumphalen und Lob. Selten hörte Grund zu überwachen und zu Besorgnis. Das Jubiläum ist jedoch vom 25. März ist nicht nur ein Jubiläum heldenhaften Kampf und Kampfkunststücke. Es ist gleichzeitig eine sehr gute Gelegenheit für uns alle eine Übung der Selbstkritik und fragen uns: Was ist es, mehr für die Helden von '21 zählt? Sind unsere Worte groß, Paraden und Kranz? Oder ist ihre Sehnsucht Seelen von uns andere Dinge und vor allem, um sie in der Praxis zu imitieren, und unser Leben in Übereinstimmung mit ihren Überzeugungen und Ideale? In unserer Jahre, wir leider unserer Heimat eine immense Labor Selbstmord . Die Wahrheiten der '21 verzerrt, die Gesichter der Helden besudelt, Glaube und Idealen unserer Vorfahren begraben sind ....
Unsere Kinder wachsen in einem verwirrten dämonisch. Verwirren Patriotismus mit Faschismus. Zündeten die löblich und herrlich griechische Flagge, als ob sie jedem Tuch waren.
Sie ernähren sich von den Giften des Atheismus und der Globalisierung und peinlich zu sagen, dass sie griechische und orthodoxen geboren wurden.
Die Opfer der Helden '21, Visionen, ihrer Werte und des Glaubens, können wir davon ausgehen ropey und altmodisch. Auf bis lefterothikame vom türkischen Joch, flog die getestet unserem Weg zu verschrotten und limpistikame den falschen Glanz der Fremde.
Verspottet die Philokalia unserer Väter und wir die Schalen des Papstes und Protestanten bevorzugt. Von der falschen und Aufnahmen '' Lichter '' der angeblich zivilisierten Espera und schließlich für immer gefangen geblendet.
In unserem Kurs Rechte beschuldigen wir Europäer Retter 'uns (*), zum Gespött machen, von uns unterschätzen uns und nutzen Sie uns. Bis wann, obwohl?
Die Antwort gab er, vor ein paar Tagen, kommentiert verleumderische über unsere Griechenland Veröffentlichung der deutschen Presse, der ältere und anspruchs Mikis Theodorakis in den folgenden Worten, Worte, die den Jahrestag vom 25. März entsprechen und voll vindicating Spiele und Opfer alle Heroes of '21:

Talking about the 25th March and the Revolution of 1821, we like usually say fancy words, full of triumphant and praise. Rarely heard reason, to monitor and concern. The anniversary, however, of 25 March is not only an anniversary heroic struggle and martial feats. It is simultaneously a very good opportunity to do all of us an exercise of self-criticism and ask ourselves: What is it that counts more for the heroes of '21? Are our words big, parades and wreath? Or is their longing souls from us other things and especially to imitate them in practice, and our life is consistent with their beliefs and ideals? In our years, we do, unfortunately, our Motherland an immense laboratory suicide . The truths of '21 distorted, the faces of heroes besmirched, faith and ideals of our ancestors are buried ....
Our children grow up in a confused demonic. Confuse patriotism with fascism. Set fire to the honorable and glorious Greek flag, as if they were any cloth.
